Types Of Spindles We Repair

We repair and rebuild all types of 40 taper CNC spindles; machine tool spindles, high speed spindles and in-line spindles are the most common. Please note that we do not work on integrated motors or integrated spindles.

Machine tool spindle - main shaft
Spindle Main ShaftMachine Tool Spindle - A rotating component use to hold the cutting tools that shape a work piece. Most machine tool spindles are driven by belts, gearboxes or electrical motors. Modern CNC machine centers are configured with a cartridge style spindle. We call this a standard spindle and it is the most common spindle repair.

High Speed Spindle - A spindle that can operate at speeds above 10,000 revolutions per minute. This type of spindle is typically belt driven.

Inline Spindle - A spindle that is directly coupled to an inline motor. Inline spindles can typically operate at speeds of up to 30,000 revolutions per minute.
